"THROUGH SPORT TO BETTER COHABITATION"

The first activity of the project "United in peace" took place from 13th to 21st December 2019 in Slontextran, Denmark. Leading Inter College in Denmark, together with partner organizations from 9 other countries, including Progress Plus, organized a seven-day seminar for 29 youth workers.
The aim of the seminar was to promote peace and ease the effects of conflicts on young people, by increasing youth workers competences in supporting young pepole's personal development, who live in conflict and post-conflict regions.
Three of our youth workers shared their gained knowledge and skills with their coworkers, while in the annual program of the Education, Training and Development Association Progress Plus, workshop on  conflict and peace keeping topic is planned in the first half of May.
In anticipation of the second part of the project we thank the leading organization for the excellent organization of the seminar and the acquired knowledge and skills..
